If you have time and resources, I urge you to participate in any volunteer activity within your community. Everyone says it is a very rewarding experience but you won’t know how it resonates within your soul until you’ve done it yourself. It has given me, a selfish person by nature, a new appreciation for myself and my own life. The most important thing is to love yourself and to show compassion to others. In order to love, we have to be compassionate. My journey doesn’t end here. In future, I hope to travel to underdeveloped countries to participate in volunteer activities, document life and lend a smile and a hand to people who really need it. There’s so much hate in this world. One person, one group can’t change the world but they can make a difference. This difference was embodied in the smiles of the children, the laughter and the tears of the locals when they realize that many people do care. I hope you’ve enjoyed this uplifting journey.

Thanks to Dimitri , Eiko and the Fukushima Future crew Koba, Kimiko, Tomi and Masao for the experience.
