avatar"Firstly, Ontoshiki is an absolute professional - an organized and talented photographer. His artistic style is very unique and he is very easy to work with. He is also such a personable photographer so I had really a great time working with him. I strongly recommend this photographer for creative, unique, original shoots; for someone who wants to achieve something special while having a lot of fun."

"Ontoshiki Vun has talent and ability to make a comfortable atmosphere for models. He is modest and doesn't talk too much which allows me to create my own emotions for our shoot easily. I'm more of an actress than a model so sometimes I need silence in order to listen to my inner voice. Ontoshiki understands that. This might seem easy but actually it is very difficult to do. Some can't read the air - what I mean is, some do too much and some don't do enough. Ontoshiki does everything in moderation.

He also understands what team work is. Creating an atmosphere is one of the most important to create great photos. A photograph is not made alone. To keep their emotion in check is very important and he naturally does it. So Id love to shoot with him again someday with different ideas."

avatar"I hear voices from his photographs. By using a lens, he doesn't just capture what appears to be on the surface. All of Ontoshiki photographs reflects a momentary brightness, hidden meanings, stories and emotions. He is flexible and expressive and has the ability to create a style that is to the point, in any moment, any situation. You'll be impressed when you shoot with him. I'm strongly inspired by his works of art - and himself."

avatar"Ontoshiki seems to perfectly capture evocative moments in time in his photographs. Often containing hints of melancholy, nostalgia to the sinister and erotic, he has a natural gift for preserving fleeting moments of haunting beauty in his works. Having met and worked with him, he is not only a fun easy guy to work with, it was fascinating to watch the mix of methodical and instinctive methods he uses to capture his images. All in all, Ontoshiki has an ever-evolving and ever-fascinating portfolio to watch and be inspired by."

avatar"I had the pleasure of working with Ontoshiki during a three-day journey through north-east Japan in October 2011. He was a true professional from start to finish. He understood the brief from the outset and delivered outstanding photographs that perfectly captured the elements we needed to illustrate. We will definitely work together in the future and I would warmly recommend him to any corporate client."

"I think Ontoshiki has achieved a unique personal vision, sometimes loaded with some sadness that's difficult to pinpoint, others with frailty, but always evocative...fragments of other lives we're allowed to glimpse for a minute. He's a recent discovery for me but has provided plenty of favorite photos. He goes well beyond documentary and goes for the blurred human condition."

"You can never be disappointed when you see ontoshikis photos - soul, beauty, emotion can all be found in his images. Eddie Adams once said " if it makes you laugh, if it makes you cry, if it rips out your heart out, it's a good picture ", he could well have been describing ontoshikis work. As a constant source of inspiration I would hope one day to take images half as good."

"Ontoshiki is an inspiration to me. He's a brilliant individual with an eye for what is right in a scene, and he makes that image happen. I've been fortunate that Ontoshiki has actually favoured some of my work. I'm honoured that someone with such talent enjoys my photography as well."
